Working together
Counselling Agreement
A clear overview of the responsibilities, boundaries and expectations that support counselling.
Effective 22 July 2026. Please read this page alongside the privacy and appointment terms relevant to your session.
Working together
Counselling is collaborative. The counsellor provides a respectful, non-judgmental space; you choose what to discuss and remain responsible for decisions you make outside sessions.
Sessions, fees and communication
Session length, frequency and fees are confirmed before counselling begins. Contact outside sessions is for practical arrangements and is not an urgent-support channel.
Confidentiality and suitability
Confidentiality and its limits are explained before the first session. If specialist, medical, psychiatric or emergency support is more appropriate, this will be discussed and a referral may be recommended.
